  1. Anybody who tries to use a cell phone as an alarm is foolishly irresponsible.

    And that was my position BEFORE the multiple news articles about the 1000s of iPhone people who got screwed when Apple failed to fix its own bugs.

    And that was my position AFTER apple said it fixed its own bugs, and then 1000s of Iphone people AGAIN GOT SCREWED for taking apple’s word on it.

    But Apple’s word isn’t even that important – it’s a dumb idea for any phone!

    Alarm clocks are $3 at yard sales, require no charging, have nice big snooze buttons, are loud, have battery compartments for power failures, and exist for a reason.

    I assume you had to use leave for the time missed, which decreases your leave pool, which decreases how much leave-surplus-payout you get when leaving a job, so this likely cost you as much money as 20 alarm clocks. ;)
