  2. That’s why many years ago I made a new year’s resolution to not let people cut in front of me in lines anymore, and have stuck to it. I waited at the parking spot 10 ft from an ATM while someone else used it. It was very cold so I didn’t wait outside. Someone drive up and walked up. “Uh, buddy, I was here first, just cause i’m waiting in my car doesn’t mean I’m not in line, I’ve been here 10 minutes; last guy was S-L-O-W.” That’s an edge case, but it’s very easy in a grocery store or like. I remember when an old lady did this to 2 of us at the post office – the P.O. gives forms for you to fill out in line, to keep it moving. So this lady acts like those of us in line filling out our forms aren’t really in line. She’s 80. She knows. I called her on it. She got pissed. Got behind me. The woman behind me called her on it. “Youuu suuuccck!” the old lady yelled in my face, storming out of the post office, unable to save face OR get her mailing duty done that day. She was a cartoon.
